Beta Programs for 2020-2021
We plan to hold our programs for September-December 2020 and possibly into this Spring 2021
on Zoom because of the restrictions of Covid-19. All our meetings will be the second Thursday
of the month at various times, except for The Teacher Panel, Saturday, November 7 at 10:00.
Thursday, September 10 at 4:00-Book Discussion
This summer we read Kathryn Snow Smith’s first and just released book, Rules for the Southern
Rulebreaker: Missteps and Lessons Learned. Our Zoom session consisted of a discussion of
Snow Smith’s book along with questions we wanted Katherine to answer October 8 and some
Beta Business. Kathryn is the daughter of our Nancy and A.C. Snow. She was a journalist for
twenty years, and decided she wanted to try writing a novel.
Thursday, October 8 at 4:00-Zoom with our author, Kathryn Snow Smith
We gave questions to Catherine that members asked at the September meeting, and you will have
another opportunity to discuss the book and ask her questions. We also will find out about her
journey and how she went about writing her book.
